Flash is… It might not help a ton, since Flash exporting is awful in general, but I’ve had better luck exporting as a .png sequence and then assembling the .gif in Photoshop. Do you have a tutorial for that? Back when I had photoshop 7, it came with Image Ready and that’s where I put together animated .gifs....
